How It Works

Built by flammability experts

The Aircraft Database is maintained by the team at Aeroblaze Laboratory, an ISO/IEC 17025–accredited aerospace flammability testing facility. FAA DERs oversee the development and maintenance of the database. We map each airframe to the FAA regulations and test methods that govern its interior materials — so you can scope a certification project with confidence.

What you'll find

  • • Applicable 14 CFR Part 23, 25, 27, and 29 flammability requirements
  • • Required test methods (vertical burn, oil burn, heat release, smoke density, and more)
  • • Component-level guidance for seats, panels, cargo liners, and insulation
  • • Whether dynamic ("16g") seat requirements apply to the airframe
